Magic Ledger Privacy Policy

Effective: May 1, 2026

Magic Ledger is designed to operate entirely on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Magic Ledger has no user accounts and sends no analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or behavioral data to us or any third party.

What stays on your device

Your inventory, binders, decks, wishlist, price alerts, and transaction log are stored on-device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you have iCloud enabled, Magic Ledger syncs your collection data across your own Apple devices through Apple's private CloudKit container. The data is stored in your personal iCloud account. Apple does not have access to it and Magic Ledger's developers do not have access to it.

Third-party data sources

Magic Ledger fetches Magic: The Gathering card metadata and pricing from Scryfall's public API at scryfall.com. Requests identify the app version and contain no personal information about you. Scryfall's privacy practices are governed by their own policy.

Notifications

If you enable price alerts, Magic Ledger schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent externally.

Camera

The card scanner uses the camera locally to read card titles. No images are uploaded or saved outside the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
